To upload your controlled substance products or zero report files, you must have access to a Clearinghouse account or register for a Clearinghouse account.
| Registration and reporting are required for all controlled dangerous substances, not just opiates. |
To register for a Clearinghouse account, open an internet browser and navigate to the Opiate Reporting login page located at https://pmpclearinghouse.net/opiatereporting/users/sign_up or click the Sign Up button on the homepage.
Enter your Profile Details on the Opiate Product Reporting Registration.
- Enter your current, valid email address in the Email Address field noting the email address you enter will acts as your username when logging into the system in the future.
- Enter a password for your account in the Password and Password Confirmation field.

Complete your Personal and Account information, noting required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*) and reporting by DEA is required.
| If you have multiple DEA numbers, create your account using your primary DEA number. You will be able to use the same account for reporting multiple DEA numbers. |
Once all of your information has been entered, click the Submit button.
Upon clicking Submit, your DEA number will automatically be validated against Bamboo Health's DEA registry, which is updated on a daily basis.
If there are no errors with your account submission, your account is created, and a message will display indicating that you need to confirm your email address to activate your account.

If there was an error with your submission, the error message(s) will display at the top of the page. Correct the indicated error(s), then click Submit to create your account, and have the verification email sent to you.
Email Verification
Before you can log into your Clearinghouse account, you must verify your email. Upon account creation, you will receive an email with a link to confirm your account. Click the link in the email to verify you email address.
Once your email address has been confirmed, you can now login to the application.
